By Star-Advertiser Staff

POSTED:

The bodies of a man and woman were found this morning at a Hilo home, but Big Island police said no foul play is suspected.

South Hilo patrol officers went to a home on the 1200 block of Kilauea Avenue at about 11:30 a.m. today in response to the report of an unresponsive male, police said.

The officers found the man in the downstairs section of the home, and the woman in another portion of the house.

Both were taken to the Hilo Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead.

The deaths have been classified as coroner's inquests.

Detectives said they do not believe foul play is involved, but the case is pending results of autopsies to determine the exact causes of death.
