Crews repairing water main break in Kailua

Board of Water supply crews were called out at 6:30 this morning to repair a break in an 8-inch water main at Mokapu Blvd. and Ilimalia Loop in Kailua.
A Board of Water Supply spokesman said the break was not caused by the storm.
The road will be closed for most of today as crews repair the pipe. Twenty-four homes were without water, the spokesman said.
