Power outage reported in downtown Honolulu

Hawaiian Electric trouble shooters are trying to locate the problem that left at least 25 commercial buildings from  Kakaako to Iwilei without power this morning.

The outage was occurred at 8 this morning. The outage also affected traffic signals in the downtown area.

Hawaiian Electric said it was trying to determine the origin of the outage.
