Man arrested for Makapuu armed robbery

Honolulu police arrested a 40-year-old homeless man who allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint at Makapuu Beach Park.
A 47-year-old man told officers that a man whom he met a few days earlier held him up at gunpoint at about 3 p.m. yesterday.
Police located the suspect nearby and arrested him at 3:46 p.m.
