Hawaii's gas prices remain the highest in the country, at 3.70 per gallon of regular unleaded.

That's according to AAA's Fuel Gauge Report, which tracks gas prices across the nation.

The highest price on the mainland is in California, where gas costs were $3.35 per gallon Wednesday.

Utah has the cheapest gas, at $2.80 per gallon.

The national average for gas is $3.09 per gallon. That's an 11 cent increase from last month.
