Kauai saw minimal problems as the storm passed yesterday.

Crews responded to minor reports of blown tree branches, debris, and clogged storm drains, according to Civil Defense administrator Mark Marshall.

Police closed portions of Ala Kinoiki Road in Koloa from 7:45 a.m. today due to flooding and reopened it at 9:02 a.m. As of 9:30 a.m., portions of Ala Kalanikaumaka Road remained closed.

Rainfall amounts at Lihue Airport were reported at 1.36 inches over a 24-hour period as of 8 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. Kilohana reported the highest rainfall amount at 3.68 inches.

Spotty power outages affected a small number of homes across the island.
