POSTED:

KIHEI, Maui >> Authorities say a fire that scorched two classrooms at the old Kihei School late Friday may have been deliberately set.

The fire scorched about 2,400 square feet of that was used as the 4th- and 5th-grade classrooms when the campus was in operation.

Damage to the building was estimated to be $100,000 for the structure and $50,000 for its contents
