UH Manoa issues security alert after students attacked in park

By Star-Advertiser Staff

POSTED:

Three University of Hawaii at Manoa students say they were attacked and assaulted by five people early yesterday morning while walking through Kanewai Park on Dole Street.

One of the UH students reported a missing wallet, according to a security alert posted on the UH Manoa website. The three students were unable to provide a description of the suspects to UH campus security and police.

University campus security recommends that students avoid walking through or going to Kanewai Park after dark.
