Stanford outlasts Hawaii in 5

Spencer McLachlin put down 29 kills and No. 2 Stanford defeated No. 13 Hawaii tonight 25-21, 17-25, 25-19, 34-36, 17-15 in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation men's volleyball match at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Jonas Umlauft led the Warriors (1-4, 1-1 MPSF) with 29 kills and Joshua Walker added 20.
Brad Lawson had 18 kills and 12 digs for the Cardinal (4-1, 3-1).
