Hawaii rebounds for 4-set win against UCSD in volleyball

No. 11 Hawaii ended a two-match losing streak tonight, defeating No. 15 UC San Diego, 25-21, 25-20, 20-25, 25-20 in La Jolla Calif.
Sophomore opposite Jonas Umlauft put down a match-high 24 kills and senior hitter Joshua Walker added 13 to lead the Warriors (2-5, 2-2 Mountain Pacific Spors Federation). Hawaii also had 9 blocks and 3 aces in dropping the Tritons (3=6. 2-3).
Hawaii returns home to host UC Santa Barbara (5-4, 3-3) in 7 p.m. matches this coming Thursday and Friday at the Stan Sheriff Center.
