No tsunami threat from Chilean quake

A 5.7 magnitude earthquake that struck the Chilean coastal town of Bio-Bio today poses no tsunami threat to Hawaii, according to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.
The quake struck at 3:29 p.m. Hawaii time. Other reports recorded the magnitude at 6.0.
