Repairs for Liliha Street water main break complete

Repairs to a broken 12-inch water main were completed before noon today, and the road was repaired at 2:30 p.m, the Board of Water Supply announced.
The break occurred at 1448 Liliha St.
A high-rise residential building and several businesses were initially affected early this morning, but crews were able to bypass water to the affected customers by about 9 a.m. Water service has been fully restored.
Traffic was contraflowed on Liliha Street between Hiram Lane and North Vineyard Boulevard.
