Two men were in custody Friday facing multiple charges of sex assault involving two separate girls.

Sagar Bajaj, 24, was arrested Thursday at his home in Marin Tower on North Nimitz Highway. He was being held at the main police cell block on $100,000 bail after being charged with 10 counts of first-degree sexual assault, two counts of third-degree sexual assault, and promoting pornography to a minor.

Police said he had sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl multiple times from January to December. Police said Bajaj and the girl are acquaintances and the rape was reported several days ago.

Harinand Kumar, 40, of Nuuanu, was also charged with one count of first-degree sexual assault, two counts of second-degree sexual assault, and two counts of harassment. He was being held on $100,000 bail.

Officers arrested Kumar at his home at 51 Coelho Way about 8:45 a.m. Thursday. Police said he assaulted an 11-year-old girl who he is not related to several times in January. The girl told her grandmother who reported it to police.
