A single-vehicle accident resulted in a power outage affecting 2,400 customers in the Kaneohe Bay Drive area Thursday night, said Hawaiian Electric Co. spokesman Darren Pai.
The accident occurred just after 9 p.m., and electricity was restored about 1-1/2 hours later, Pai said.
But HECO workers are still working on the downed power pole, he said.
