Police say a 59-year-old woman, whose 1992 Mazda pickup truck was stolen from her Ewa Beach home on April 4, reclaimed her truck and captured the alleged thief.

Police say the woman saw a 28-year-old man driving her pickup truck in Waipahu Thursday and when the man parked the truck, the woman confronted him and detained the 28-year-old suspect until officers arrived. Police arrested the man at about 7:15 p.m. on Poailani Circle in Waipahu.
