Hawaii stuns No. 1 USC in volleyball

Jonas Umlauft put down 26 kills and Joshua Walker added 19 as No. 8 Hawaii upset No. 1 USC tonight 22-25, 25-22, 15-25, 25-20, 15-10 in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation men's volleyball match at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Steven Hunt added 12 kills for the Warriors (15-11, 13-8), who snapped the Trojans' 12-match winning streak. It was Hawaii's first five-set win in five tries this season.

Murphy Troy led USC (18-2, 17-2) with 17 kills and Stven Shandrick added 14.

The teams meet again at 7 tomorrow night.
