Big Isle police seek missing Oklahoma man

Big Island police are looking for a 40-year-old Oklahoma man reported as missing.

Police said Daniel Mitchell of Moore, Okla. has a medical condition that requires medication and that he may be in the Kona area.

Mitchell is described as Caucasian, 6 feet 1 inches, 180 to 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He may be operating a silver Dodge Avenger with a license plate number of HMD 385.

Anyone with information on Mitchell’s whereabouts is asked to call the police department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311. Those who wish to remain anonymous may also call Crime Stoppers at 961-83000.
