Police arrested a 25-year-old Waipahu man on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder in connection with an alleged attack with a bat.

The man got into an argument with a 37-year-old man at the Waikele Self Storage at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

He allegedly punched the man in the jaw and knocked him unconscious, police said.

He then retrieved a bat, allegedly struck him with the bat, threw rocks at him and chased and hit him with a car, Pearl City police said.
