Two Kona men were in police custody after being arrested on suspicion of stealing copper.
The men, age 31 and 48, were arrested Monday afternoon after personnel at a religious facility found them allegedly trying to take copper material from a renovation.
The employees detained the suspects until police arrived.
Detectives linked the two men to another incident of copper theft and arrested them on suspicion of that offense at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday.
