Robbery victim chases down alleged suspect

A 24-year-old Pacific Heights man was arrested in connection with a robbery in Kalihi.
Police said a man took property from another man’s motor vehicle and fled on foot in the Mokauaea business district about 3:40 p.m. Friday.
The vehicle’s owner chased down the suspect, who struck him in the face, police said.
Both sustained injuries that were not life-threatening. The suspect was arrested pending charges of first-degree robbery and second-degree assault.
