Man arrested for allegedly assaulting police officer in Waikiki

A 30-year-old with no local address was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer in Waikiki.
The man threw an object that hit a police officer in the face about 7:20 p.m., Wednesday, police said. Officers arrested him at Liliuokalani and Koa avenues after a brief foot chase.
