Pupukea man arrested for allegedly assaulting roommate

A Pupukea man was arrested after allegedly assaulting his roommate Thursday night, police said.
The victim, 40, sustained substantial bodily injuries and lost consciousness when his head hit roadway pavement about 9:40 p.m.. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The suspect, 35, was arrested in Kahaluu about an hour later on suspicion of second-degree assault.
