A 56-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly forced his way into the Kalihi apartment of his child's mother, who has a protective order preventing him from coming in contact with her.
The woman, 29, sustained minor injuries trying to prevent him from entering the unit at 7:25 a.m. Wednesday, police said.
A friend who was in the apartment calmed the man down and convinced him to leave.
The suspect, of no local address, was found on Liliha Street and arrested for investigation of first-degree burglary and violating a protective order.
