Former Kaneohe resident Dean Wilson is tied for third after the opening round of the AT&T National, trailing first-day leaders Adam Scott and Hunter Haas by one shot. Wison is tied with three other golfers after firing a 3-under 67 today at the Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pa.

Wilson opened on the back nine and carded eight pars and an eagle at the par-5 16th. After bogeying the first hole on his back nine, the Castle High product birdied the par-4 third and sixth holes to drop to 3 under for the tournament.

The 42-year old Las Vegas resident has struggled this year, making the cut only seven times in 16 events. He has still earned $309,024 and is 133rd in FedEx Cup points.
