Fire crews lift injured woman off Olomana

Fire and rescue personnel assisted a hiker who tripped or fell and injured her leg along the Olomana Trail on Saturday morning.
Rescue workers rappelled onto the trail from a Honolulu Fire Department helicopter, which lifted her to safety at Maunawili District Park shortly before 9:30 a.m., said fire Capt. Gary Lum.
Paramedics from the city Department of Emergency Services treated the woman at the scene for minor injuries, an EMS district chief said.
