Mililani man allegedly tries to sell stolen items to owner

Police arrested a 43-year-old Mililani man who allegedly tried to sell a man’s stolen items back to him.
According to police, the man contacted the victim today and offered to get back his stolen property for a fee. However, when the suspect returned with the goods and tried to collect his payment, he was arrested by waiting Honolulu police officers.
The suspect faces a single charge of second-degree theft.
