Kihei man suffers life-threatening injuries in motorcycle crash

A 31-year-old Kihei man suffered life-threatening injuries when his motorcycle crashed on Lelepio Street near the Kahului Airport early this morning, Maui police said.
Alcohol, drugs and speed are possible factors in the 1:46 a.m. crash, police said. The man's 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle was the only vehicle involved, police said. The man was not wearing a helmet.
