Vehicle fire closes east-bound H-1 lanes near Aiea

Four town-bound of the H-1 freeway near Aiea were closed for a short while because of a vehicle fire this morning, Honolulu police said.
The lanes near the Aiea off-ramp were closed just before 8 a.m. and re-opened about a half-hour later, police said.
Honolulu firefighters have extinguished the blaze which clogged rush-hour traffic.
