Fire Capt. Gary Lum said the woman had hiked about two-thirds of the trail in when she felt dizzy and fainted at about 1:56 p.m. Sunday.

Two rescue crews hiked up and carried her out. The first crew got to her at about 2:20 p.m. She was taken by ambulance to an area hospital.
