No. 10 Hawaii opens with sweep of USF

Senior Kanaani Danielson put down 13 kills and freshman Jane Croson added 11 to lead No. 10 Hawaii over San Francisco 25-22, 25-12, 25-23 in tonight's season-opening volleyball match for both team at the Stan Sheriff Centers. 

Junior libero Emily Maeda had a match-high 15 digs for the Rainbow Wahine (1-0, 1-0 Chevron Invitational).

Hawaii plays Wichita State (0-1, 0-1) in Saturday's second match. The Shockers lost to Arizona 3-0 in tonight's opener.
