Off-duty officer arrests man urinating on vehicle

A 26-year-old man was arrested Friday after an off-duty officer spotted him urinating on a vehicle in Kailua, police said.

The man urinate on and then damaged the vehicle in a restaurant parking lot about 2:10 a.m., police said. He ran away after seeing the off-duty officer. The officer found the man on Hoolai Street and when he identified himself, the man punched him, police said.

The officer arrested the Kaneohe man on suspicion of assault and property damage.
