Ewa Beach man arrested in domestic violence incident

Honolulu police arrested a 33-year-old Ewa Beach man who allegedly struck a woman and placed a choke hold on her during a domestic argument on June 14, police said.
Police said the couple argued on June 14 and the verbal argument escalated into a fight. The suspect allegedly struck the victim, a 21 year-old woman, put a choke hold on her and took her car, police said.
Officers arrested the suspect Monday on suspicion of second-degree robbery and abuse of a family or household member.
