Wailuku man dies of injuries from Aug. 4 motorcycle crash

Maui police said alcohol was a factor in the death Wednesday of a 31-year-old Wailuku man who crashed his motorcycle near Kahului Airport last month.

Police said David Pullins died early Wednesday morning from injuries he suffered when his motorcycle crashed at 1:46 a.m. on Aug 4 on Lelepio Street near Kahului Airport.

Pullin's 2009 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was the only vehicle involved, police said. He was not wearing a helmet. 

This is Maui’s 12th traffic fatality, compared with 10 at the same time last year.
