A man who watched a woman make off with his bicycle chased it down and helped in her arrest in the Keeaumoku area Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Police said the victim, 44, left his bike unattended to conduct business at a bank when he saw a woman riding away about 4 p.m. Wednesday. He chased after the bike while calling 911. Responding officers were able to locate and detain the suspect and the bike, which has a value of more than $300.
A Pawaa woman, 43, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree theft on Rycroft Street.
