Traffic incident leads to alleged assault, arrest

A 22-year-old Wahiawa man was arrested after he allegedly struck a woman following a traffic incident Friday.
Police said the victim, 31, was still seated in her car when the man struck her. The man fled but later turned himself in at the Wahiawa police substation.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of unauthorized entry into a vehicle and then released pending investigation.
