All lanes of the H-2 freeway have been reopened, after two lanes in each direction were closed this morning due to a traffic accident.
Two northbound lanes of H-2 freeway before the Ka Uka offramp and two southbound lanes prior to the Waianae offramp were closed just after 10 a.m. The police department at 12:17 p.m. said all lanes had been reopened.
Capt. Terry Seelig, Honolulu Fire Department spokesman, said part of a northbound wastewater truck was leaning over the median into the southbound lanes.
He said there was no spill of hazardous materials.
