A woman accused of driving with methamphetamine in her system when her vehicle struck and killed a bicyclist last year pleaded not guilty Thursday to a charge of first-degree negligent homicide.
Virginia Dilay was charged in the death of Ricky Albano, 49, who was riding a 21-speed bicycle when he was hit near Dillingham Boulevard and Middle Street the night of Sept. 29, 2010.
Circuit Judge Richard Perkins scheduled Dilay's trial for Nov. 14.
The first-degree negligent homicide charge carries a prison term of up to 10 years.
