A 26-year-old man pleaded not guilty today to charges that he was one of four men who impersonated police officers in an Aiea home invasion robbery last month.
James K. Kaleopaa Jr. was indicted by an Oahu grand jury this month on charges of armed robbery, kidnapping, firearm, impersonating an officer and other counts in the Aug. 22 robbery.
Circuit Judge Richard Perkins scheduled Kaleopaa’s trial for Nov. 14.
If convicted of all charges, Kaleopaa faces a possible extended term of life in prison with parole.
