Kauai firefighters rescue injured hiker in Wailua

Kauai firefighters rescued a 49-year-old Utah man who suffered a possible broken ankle Wednesday while hiking on the Secret Falls trail in Wailua.
The hiker fell about 3:15 p.m. and suffered an ankle injury, the Kauai Fire Department said.
Personnel from Rescue 3 and Engine 2 hiked up the trail, found the hiker and helped him out of the trail. He was taken to Wilcox Hospital.
