One women broke her ankle on the Olomana Trail about 11:50 a.m. Firefighters picked her up in a helicopter and took her to a district park where paramedics were waiting, said Honolulu fire Capt. Carlton Yamada.
About 1:30 p.m., a man in his 60s ran into trouble while hiking up Diamond Head. Firefighters hiked up to the spiral staircase near the top of the trail and found the man with a head injury, Yamada said.
