Fire damages single-family house on Maui

Fire caused an estimated $50,000 damage to a Napili, Maui, home on Saturday afternoon.

The blaze, which was contained to a single room, was first reported at 1:30 p.m. to a single-family dwelling on Lower Honoapiilani Highway. It was extinguished by 3:17 p.m.

No injuries were reported and no other structures were threatened. The fire was deemed accidental but its exact cause has not yet been determined.
