A 73-year-old Waipahu man died of his injuries from a motorcycle accident on Aug. 17, police said.

The man was riding his motorcycle on Kaukonahua Road south of Wilikina Drive when he crashed.

The Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Matthew White. An autopsy will be conducted today to determine the exact cause of death.

White was originally taken to the Queen's Medical Center in serious condition, but his condition worsened and he died Tuesday  night from his injuries, police said.

No other vehicles were involved and speed, alcohol and drugs are not factors in the crash, police said.

White was wearing a helmet.

This is the 46th traffic fatality on Oahu this year, compared with 46 at the same time last year.
