Father turns in escapee from youth correctional facility

A 15-year-old girl is back in custody at Hawaii Youth Correctional Facility in Kailua and facing escape charges after she didn't return from a furlough visit with her parents last month, police said.
The girl's mother told authorities her daughter fled from their custody on Sept. 10. She was turned in by her father Tuesday night.
