By Star-Advertiser staff

An 18-year-old Keaau man is being held on $22,000 bail pending his initial court appearance today on kidnapping and terroristic threatening charges in connection with a Friday domestic violence incident in Puna, police said.

Authorities charged Dustin M.K. AhChong with kidnapping and six counts of first-degree terroristic threatening Sunday. He is scheduled to appear in South Hilo District Court this afternoon.

Police said Ahchong allegedly pointed an airsoft hand gun and pellet rifle at five people and threatened to shoot them if he was not given custody of an infant. The incident happened late Friday afternoon in the Hawaiian Paradise Park subdivision.
