Man held in alleged sex assault in Kapolei

Police arrested a 24-year-old man for allegedly sexually assaulting a 21-year-old woman at a Kapolei residence.
The incident allegedly occurred between 12:30 and 1:30 a.m. Sunday. The suspect was arrested two hours later for second-degree sexual assault.
As the suspect was being arrested, the victim allegedly struck and pushed him, resulting in a cross-complaint of third-degree assault.
