No tsunami from 6.0 quake in Aleutians

A magnitude 6.0 earthquake was detected 90 miles southwest of Amchitka, Alaska, in the Aleutian Islands around 9:15 p.m. Hawaii time Sunday.
Given the magnitude of the quake, no Pacific-wide tsunami is expected to be generated, according to the West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center.
