The alleged sexual assault of a teenage girl by a math teacher on the Hawaiian Mission Academy campus started in October 2008, when the girl was 14 years old and continued until June 2009, according to a state grand jury indictment returned Tuesday.
The indictment charges Bryan Lindberg, 42, of Mililani, with 10 counts of first-degree sexual assault, one count of attempted first-degree sexual assault and five counts of third-degree sexual assault.
Police arrested Lindberg on Oct. 26 at Leilehua High School, where he as been working since July 2009 as an algebra and geometry teacher.
He is no longer in custody after posting $200,000 bail through a bail bond company Monday, said Chris Van Marter, deputy city prosecutor.
