Firefighters put out Ewa Villages brush fire

A brush fire burned about three acres on Renton Road Wednesday afternoon near Ewa Villages.
Four fire engine companies and two tankers were summoned to the scene near Kapolei Parkway about 1:05 p.m.
Capt. Terry Seelig, Honolulu Fire Department spokesman, said no homes were endangered.
The fire was reported under control about 1:53 p.m., Seeliig said.
