Man arrested for allegedly assaulting police officer in Waianae

A 38-year-old man was arrested after assaulting a police officer this morning in Waianae.
When police responded to an argument on Pokai Bay Drive about 2:40 a.m., the man came out of the residence and assaulted one of the officers, police said.
After he was arrested, he allegedly damaged the windows of a patrol car.
Police arrested him for investigation of assault on a law enforcement officer and damage to a police vehicle.
