Man arrested after allegedly shattering windshield at an East Oahu beach

A 22-year-old man was arrested Saturday after he allegedly shattered the windshield of a vehicle while people were sitting inside it at Alan Davis Beach on East Oahu.
Police said two people were sitting in the vehicle at the Kalanianaole Highway beach about 5:20 a.m. when a group of young males began harassing them.
One man from the group picked up a rock and threw it through the windshield, shattering it, police said. Responding officers stopped the alleged assailant's vehicle and arrested the man for property damage.
